1st AutoRun Exress Hey Team, not a bad product, easy to use, intuitive, etc, however the thing I wanted it to do was run the program after the disk was inserted Unfortunately in Vista on a DEll Inspiron 6400 it just opens a window with the program plus your ini and bat files. The user then has to double click the flash.exe program to run which it does ok but I was hoping your autorun program would ensure the my flash.exe program would do just that and auto run! Impossible to Evaluate It was impossible for me to evaluate this software, as when I attempted to use it to recover one 350 Mb file, the evaluation version wouldn't do it - it produced a message about only being capable of recovering a limited number of files of limited size.I don't know about everyone else, but all the DVDs I have are 4.7 Gb in size - and the FOB files typically are 1 Gb or larger. Even a medium quality AVI movie is between 350 and 700 Mb. An evaluation version that won't allow the evaluator to recover a standard DVD file isn't much good for ...

Review of DVD data Rescue Not possible to give accurate feedback or rating, application does not alow you to save recovered files to hdd in trial period, so you cannot rate it as you are not able to know if it is going to do what you require it to do! Basicaly, you have to buy it first to "test it's full capabilities and functionality.

Successful recovery I had a DVD data disk that I didn't "close" properly after I was done backing up my data. I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled my operating system. when I went to copy my data back from my dvd, my system couldn't read the dvd. I downloaded DVD Data Rescue and it read and recovered all my data.

Didn`t recover drag to disk files Unfortunately your software did not recover the corrupted files on the DVD. I had used drag to disk from Roxio EZMedia Creator 8 to make the DVD. I also tried three other software programs from other companies, as well as yours, and none would recover the data. I will not be using that feature from Roxio again it's too dangerous and costly because of the probability for data to be totally lost and not recoverable.

Unable to detect disk Unless there is someway to "trick" the operating system to recognize that there is a disc in the drive, you are unable to use the program to retrieve files. The disc was badly scratched and evidently intermittently undetectable. (It was detected once and the program started to read files, but when the scan was cancelled an the disc re-inserted it wouldn't detect.) Otherwise, it looks like it would be an excellent program, unfortunately not useful to me.

I tried other products, AutoRun Wizard was the simplest and cost effective to use. I wish for it to have html menu creator to complete the software.

Autorun - now mere child`s play. Easy to use - self-explanatory piece of software. For all typs of cd-rom and dvd perfect if the authoring software does not allow to generate a autorun cd. What we miss, is a possibility to autoexecute or autorun a pop-up picture or a programm directly from a usb memory stick.

Can`t test if this really works! I was able to download the program and it appears that it was able to read the disc but I'm not sure if it's really working. I'm afraid it is some kind of a hoax just to make me feel it is going to work but after getting my money, or paying the bloody serial key over the internet, it. Wont really gonna work at all! At least they should show some footage of what was inside the disc to really make me believe it is really gonna work! I'm just trying to help my friend retrieve their videos lost ...

Worked great for the little I needed. I needed it just for one initial extraction of a microsoft image upon recommendation to slipstream sp2 into a winxp OS boot disk. Worked great. Not sure I really needed to spend $30 on that tho, but I didn't want to spend all day looking for a solution and it worked precisely as advertised.

Cannot test all features I downloaded ISOBuster to see if I could recover a CD given to me possibly created with Roxio. I could not extract anything at all. Only got a file listing; which is better than the other recovery software I've tried so far. So I tried ISOBuster with an ISO image I had saved. It read all files.
